The surface finish has been carefully refined, giving the entire ken a smooth feel while maintaining a rougher texture only in the areas that make contact with the tama. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a truly refined piece.
The tama is made by the renowned Japanese manufacturer Yamagata Koubou as part of their popular ALL series. Made from beech wood, it offers a solid, substantial weight.
The combination of white and deep crimson, with a subtle touch of green around the bevel, creates a refined color scheme inspired by Japanese aesthetics.
Featuring a 62mm diameter and a 25mm bevel opening, the tama follows modern kendama trends while incorporating a smooth, rounded transition from the tapered section into the bevel. This design has been carefully refined to complement JAC's thicker spike, providing a precise fit and a satisfying spike feel.
